Websites for fence contractors

A fence website that shows the exact fence they want before they call

Rune builds custom websites for fence contractors anywhere in the country. Homeowners arrive knowing the material and roughly the height; the site shows them that fence, answers the permit and shared-fence questions, and gets them to the estimate form. It runs on Skal, our editor, so you add last week's install photos yourself.

  • Wood privacy fence

In a side-by-side Google Lighthouse test on mobile, a typical template site took 9.1 seconds to load. A Rune custom build took 2.8.

What you get

Websites for fence companies

Every site is custom, hand-built, and yours to keep.

A page per material and height

Six-foot wood privacy, four-foot chain link, iron with a gate: each gets its own page, because that is how people search and how you quote.

Drawings when photos fall short

If you do not have clean job photos yet, dimensioned fence elevations show the exact build, with a person for scale, so nothing on the site is someone else's work.

Permit and shared-fence answers

Height limits, who pays for a boundary fence, setbacks, and the fire-zone rules. The questions that stall a sale, answered before the first call.

Town pages for your service area

A page for each town you fence in, written for that town, so "fence company" searches in the next county over still find you.

Estimate requests that ask the right things

Linear feet, material, gates, and a photo of the yard, collected up front so your first call is a quote, not an interview.

Edit from the truck on Skal

Drop in photos of the install you just finished, change a lead time, update your license line. Published in a minute, no developer.

FAQ

Questions fence contractors ask us

Do I need a page for every fence type?

It helps a lot. Someone searching "vinyl fence installer" wants a vinyl page, not a general fencing page. We write one page per material you actually install, each with the heights, styles, and the questions that come up for that material.

We mostly get work from builders and property managers. Does a website matter?

Yes, differently. Commercial buyers check that you are licensed, insured, and have done similar jobs before they call back. A capabilities page, a commercial gallery, and your license and bond details up front do that work for you.

Can the site handle fence repair calls as well as new installs?

Yes. Repair is a different search with a different urgency, so it gets its own page with click-to-call at the top. New installs get the estimate form with the material and footage questions.

Our photos are mostly from a phone, half-finished. Is that usable?

Finished-fence photos from a phone are fine and beat stock photos every time. For materials you have no photos of yet, we can draw the fence instead, and you replace the drawing with a photo whenever you like.

Will the site help with Google Maps?

The site and your Google Business Profile work together. We set the profile categories and service area to match the site, link them, and build the town and service pages Google reads when it ranks the map results.
