An app in both stores, from one codebase, built by people who have shipped them
A mobile app is the right call when your customers or crew need something in their pocket: a loyalty card, a booking tool, a field checklist that works without signal. It is the wrong call when a fast website would do, and we will say so.
When it is the right call, Rune builds it once for iOS and Android, handles the store submissions, and keeps it updated. Our own app lives in both stores today.

Mobile apps
Quoted fixed-price before any work starts, and yours to keep when it is done.
One codebase, both stores
Built with Capacitor or React Native so iOS and Android ship together and every fix lands in both.
Push notifications
Appointment reminders, order updates, and announcements that reach the lock screen.
Works offline
Forms, checklists, and reference data that keep working in a basement or on a ranch road and sync when signal returns.
Payments and subscriptions
In-app purchases where Apple and Google require them, Stripe where they do not, and we know which is which.
Store submission handled
Developer accounts, screenshots, listings, review guidelines, and the back-and-forth with Apple. We have been through it.
Shares a backend with your site
The app, the website, and the admin dashboard run on one system, so there is one source of truth.
Projects where we did this
Live builds, with the story of how each one was made.

Homeschool.fit
A full SaaS platform for homeschool families: curriculum planning, scheduling, progress tracking, and community. On the web and in both app stores.

KeyQuest
A Pokemon-inspired RPG where you catch songs by playing them on a real piano. Practice comes first, the adventure comes second, and a grown-up holds the key.
Questions we get about this
Do I really need an app, or will a website do?
If customers need push notifications, offline use, the camera, or a home-screen icon they open daily, an app earns its keep. If they visit occasionally to book or buy, a fast mobile website is cheaper and reaches more people. We will tell you which, before you spend anything.
How long does an app take?
A focused first version is usually a few months including store review. We ship a working build to your phone early and keep iterating from there.
Who owns the app?
You do. It is published under your developer accounts, and the code is yours.
