Yeti Launch
An Electron desktop app for ZURB that turned setting up a Foundation project into one click - no terminal, no toolchain wrangling.

ZURB built Foundation, the front-end framework that ran a good share of the web before Bootstrap took the oxygen. Starting a Foundation project meant a terminal, Node, npm, and a build toolchain - a real wall for designers who wanted to make something without becoming a build engineer first.
Yeti Launch was the answer: a desktop application that installed and built Foundation projects in one click. Pick a template, name it, go. The app handled the toolchain underneath so the person using it never had to think about it.
It was built with Electron and shipped as a real desktop app on macOS and Windows. Erik built it as a 1099 intern at ZURB.
